The National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) is the industry’s oldest and most respected designation, establishing educational standards for structured settlement professionals throughout the nation.
Nearly 550 structured settlement consultants have earned the distinguished CSSC designation. The program, developed in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame, consists of more than 80 hours of classroom and study culminating in a comprehensive examination.
The NSSTA CSSC Program includes an intensive pre-program study and four days of classroom sessions covering a variety of topics and issues that directly relate to your daily structured settlements business. By hosting the NSSTA CSSC Program at Notre Dame, one of the most recognized institutes of higher learning in the world, participants have an opportunity to learn together and build lasting relationships that will last throughout their careers.

Participants receive a notebook of program materials and an outline of the classroom sessions upon receipt of paid registration. In addition they must obtain the pre-program study materials that must be read prior to the classroom sessions on their own.
Classes are scheduled on Wednesday evening, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the comprehensive exam scheduled for Sunday morning. Plan to arrive on campus before 5 pm on Wednesday and leave after 1 pm on Sunday. Classes will take place at the Mendoza College of Business Administration.

Program fees include the four-day classroom sessions, program materials, lodging and meals. Fees do not include text books and transportation. The NSSTA CSSC Program is limited to 37 participants and ALL applicants must have a minimum of two years experience in the structured settlement field. Applications are accepted in the order received. If qualified registrations exceed the program limit, a priority waiting list will be established in the event of individual cancellations.
NSSTA CSSC Program applicants must...
• Complete the Registration form with payment information.
• Demonstrate two years of structured settlement industry experience. NOTE: Applicants who have been members of NSSTA for two or more full years need not provide further evidence to meet this requirement.
The NSSTA CSSC Program fees include lodging and meals during the duration of the four-day program. Arrangements will be made for each student upon receipt of paid registration at The Inn at Saint Mary's near the Notre Dame’s Campus.
Dress is business casual or casual at the option of the participant. Weather can be chilly in South Bend in October so it is important to bring appropriate clothing.

Applicants can receive a full refund if written cancellation is received and confirmed before October 23, 2009. Cancellations received after October 23, 2009 will receive a refund less an administrative fee of $500. No refunds will be offered for cancellations after November 1, 2009. Credit: NSSTA does not offer credits for future programs and all cancellations will be processed after the program.
